This was one of our commercial undertakings, and it was executed perfectly. We received a call outlining an urgent need to get this project on schedule for timber and cabinetry installations. We jumped into action completing an entire floor each day ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding trades. The first day consisted of grinding all apartments on floor seven and applying a moisture barrier in preparation for levelling. The next day, our team returned to pour the levelling compound first thing in the morning, which ensured there was sufficient time for it to dry. This allowed installations to begin the following day while also allocating time for us to move onto and prepare floor eight for the same levelling process the following day. We completed this process all the way to the penthouse on floor 18 which took our team a total of two and a half weeks.

This project was completed for one of our commercial clientèle and included levelling for the parish quarters to accommodate the long-standing church staff and pastor. To ensure longevity over a T&G substrate, our process included a mechanical cleaning and the application of an epoxy system to ensure adhesion and accommodate for the seasonal expansion/contraction of a timber substrate. On the morning of the levelling application, our team primed and resurfaced the substrate with a trowel-able rapid set compound, followed by a skim coat of fibre-reinforced levelling compound immediately afterwards to ensure chemical bonding between all layers.

This project involved a larger removal of 120 square meters of tiles, tile and slate underlay, and a network of underfloor heating. We began the job on a Thursday, aiming to have everything prepared for the flooring installation team by Monday. We were done and dusted early Friday afternoon, with the substrate mechanically cleaned and ready for the flooring to go down the following week as planned. The team did an excellent job, showing their commitment and dedication to meeting the client’s deadline without compromising on quality.

This project involved flooring removal and stripping for a car dealership. We were contacted on short notice to remove the flooring and prepare the substrate for tiling on the following Monday. Early on a Saturday morning, we began the uplift and mechanical cleaning of the substrate, during which we discovered a low point that could have delayed the new tile installation. We applied our moisture barrier just before closing and returned on Sunday morning to apply the levelling compound, ensuring the Monday schedule remained on track.

After sampling various colour and non-slip options we completed a two-coat system over two days ensuring minimal downtime for the operation.

Here we have an efficient and cost-effective approach to levelling a concrete substrate for a timber floor installation with the presence of a single low point using cement screed. In order to keep the layers on track we utilised a small mixing station during the original call out and had the low point filled within an hour. Thanks to the rapid cure time the installation could take place only a few hours later which ensured that a small job did not face delays due to a waitlist.

Here we undertook a block wall grinding project to remove multiple layers of paint in preparation for a basement dwelling conversion. During the process we identified areas where hydrostatic pressure had caused the paint to peel. After consulting with the building crew we utilised dehumidifiers to thoroughly dry the space and then applied a moisture barrier system in preparation for painting. These steps ensured the longevity of the job and significantly improved the humidity levels in the space.

This job is a great showcase of one of the many application scenarios epoxy screed can be used. A liquor shop was having significant difficulties with daily pallet deliveries and had experienced failures with alternatives such as metal transitions and cement applications. After meeting on site we suggested an epoxy mortar which had a fast cure time and would be more than capable of handling regular forklift and heavy traffic use.

This project involved a basic seam grind of the existing subfloor in preparation for new carpet installation. This meant that over time with foot traffic, imperfections from the substrate did not mirror through, which also significantly increased the expected lifespan of the installation.
